A floodlight camera has more wiring behind it than an ordinary camera, and on an exterior wall that termination has to go somewhere dry. This junction box contains it, protects it and hides it, so the finished elevation shows a camera rather than a camera and a knot of cable.
Built for the installer
Water and dust resistant housing with concealed cable management, for wall or ceiling mounting, indoors or out. On a commercial exterior the box is also what keeps the terminations accessible for service without cutting into the wall again.
It fits all three cameras in the family: the DC-powered ADC-V729, the strobe ADC-V729AC and the PoE++ ADC-VC729P.
