Nearly twenty feet of reach between the camera and the power source. Floodlight cameras go high on a wall or under an eave, and the supplied lead regularly falls a few feet short of where the supply actually is.
Built for the installer
The alternative to an extension is splicing the camera power cable, which introduces a joint in an exterior run and a warranty conversation nobody wants. A purpose-made extension keeps the connection sealed and the run intact.
At 6 metres it covers most gaps between a mounting position and a soffit outlet or an interior supply point.
Key features
- 19.6 ft (6 m) of reach between camera and supply
- Avoids splicing the camera power cable and the joint that creates in an exterior run
- Purpose-made for the V729 family rather than a generic adapted lead
System requirements
For the Alarm.com ADC-V729 and ADC-VC729P floodlight cameras. A 9 ft extension (ADC-VPE-9FT-W) is available for shorter gaps.
