SKU:
ADC-XT-510-US-DP-AT

Puts an existing Interlogix Simon XT or XTi panel on Alarm.com, so the customer keeps the panel and the sensors already installed and gains app control, remote arming and notifications. On a takeover that is a module and an afternoon instead of a full system replacement.

Built for the alarm installer

This is the dual-path variant, so the module reports over both AT&T LTE cellular and broadband Ethernet. Signals go down both paths and the server acts on whichever arrives first, which cuts signal time and removes the single point of failure a cellular-only install carries.

A Z-Wave Plus controller is built in, so locks, lighting and thermostats can be added to a legacy Simon panel without another hub on the wall.

Standby draw is 30 mA, or 10 mA in PowerSave mode, but transmit peaks at 1.7 A. That peak is the number to check against the panel supply and battery, because a tired battery that holds up under standby load can still fail on a transmit burst.

Key features

  • Keeps the existing Simon panel and sensors, avoiding a full replacement
  • Dual path over cellular and Ethernet
  • Z-Wave Plus controller built in for locks, lighting and thermostats
  • PowerSave mode drops standby to 10 mA, which matters on battery standby time
  • Compact at 4.06 by 1.87 in to fit inside the existing panel housing

System requirements

Requires an Interlogix Simon XT at version 1.3 or later, or a Simon XTi, and 6V from the panel. Confirm the panel supply and battery can deliver the 1.7 A transmit peak. Ethernet is required for the second path.

Which Simon panels does this fit?
Interlogix Simon XT at version 1.3 or later, and the Simon XTi. Check the panel version before the visit, since earlier Simon XT firmware is not supported.
What is PowerSave mode?
A reduced-draw state where standby current drops from 30 mA to 10 mA. It matters on a panel running from battery, where every milliamp affects standby time.
Does the peak current figure matter for the panel supply?
Yes. Peak draw is 1.7 A during transmit. The panel supply and battery have to support that burst even though continuous draw is only 30 mA.
What cellular network does this variant use?
AT&T LTE. Confirm coverage at the site address before ordering, since the carrier is fixed per part number.
