The Alarm.com ADC-VDB770 in Silver drops onto existing doorbell wiring without re-running power. The Design Studio housing covers the same footprint as a standard doorbell, the included angled wedges flex the camera angle for porches that don't aim straight at the visitor, and Wi-Fi handles backhaul on 2.4 GHz with a 2x2 antenna so installers aren't chasing 5 GHz coverage at the doorframe.
Heads up: digital chimes now require the ADC-VDBA-770BAT power module accessory, sold separately. Mechanical chimes run off the included power module without it.
The 5 MP sensor produces a 1440 x 1920 portrait frame so the porch and the package on the doormat both stay in the shot. HDR keeps faces readable against backlit afternoons. IR carries 15 feet for after-hours visitors. Motion is handled by Alarm.com's on-device video analytics, no PIR, so passing squirrels don't fire alerts. Alerts route through the dealer's existing Alarm.com account with no separate cloud login for the homeowner.

- Two-Way Audio over the standard Alarm.com mobile experience, no Skybell hangover
- Angled mounting wedges, mounting brackets, wire connectors, and wire extenders ship in the box
- Battery heater keeps it awake at -22°F so cold-climate installs don't get callbacks in January
- IPX4 sealed housing for weather under a typical porch overhang
