A 5 MP sensor with a 150-degree vertical field of view, which is the tall-and-narrow shape that shows a visitor head to toe and the package at their feet in the same frame. Video Analytics handles detection on the device rather than a PIR sensor, so alerts follow what is actually in view.

Built for the installer

Three mounting brackets are in the box at 0, 15 and 30 degrees left or right, and the power module, angled wedges, wire connectors and wire extenders come with it, so most installs need nothing extra. The optional Wedge Mount Kit (ADC-VDBA-WMK) adds four more positions including 45 degrees left or right and 5 degrees down, for doors set into a perpendicular wall or where the bottom blind spot is hiding packages.

Rated -22F to 104F as installed. The Temperature Collar (ADC-VDBA-TC) extends the low end from -30C to -40C ambient by blocking airflow across the heat sink, which is worth specifying on northern jobs. Note that digital chime installs require the battery version (ADC-VDBA-770BAT); mechanical or no-chime installs can use the battery-less insert (ADC-VDBA-770BLI).

Requires a 16-30 VAC transformer at 10 VA and 18-20 AWG wiring. Digital chime installations require the battery version (ADC-VDBA-770BAT). Mechanical chime or no-chime installations can use the battery-less insert (ADC-VDBA-770BLI).
