Built for the commercial installer
PoE removes the two things that make doorbells fragile: the transformer and the Wi-Fi link. One Cat cable carries power and data, so there is no chime circuit to test, no VA budget to calculate and no 2.4 GHz signal fighting a brick wall. No power module is required either, which is one less part in the wall.
Compliant with Section 889 of the NDAA and carrying UL, FCC, IC, RCM, CE Class B, RoHS and WEEE, which matters when the job is federal, education or anything with procurement language attached. Rated -58F to 122F with a 150 by 150 degree field of view and full-duplex two-way audio.

Mounting options sold separately: single-gang plate (ADC-VDBA-755P-MNT), wedge kit (ADC-VDBA-755P-WMK), flush mount (ADC-VDBA-755P-FMK) and decorative plates (ADC-VDBA-755P-COVER).
