The INT-7AT is a wall-mount temporal horn-strobe built for straightforward two-wire fire alarm circuits. It runs on 16 to 33 Vdc, self-synchronizes with other Integrity devices on the same circuit without an external control module, and mounts to a standard North American two-gang box with a single screw.

Built for the commercial fire installer

The strobe is rated 15 cd wall / 15 cd ceiling per UL 1971 and up to 75 cd (UL 1638) depending on orientation and switch setting, and the horn is field-configurable for temporal or steady tone at high (98 dBA) or low (94 dBA) output. Terminals accept up to #12 AWG for polarized, diode-supervised connections, and the red Noryl housing holds up in industrial and high-traffic areas. Fully compatible with Genesis signals on the same circuit.

Flush mounts to a standard North American two-gang electrical box (2-1/2" minimum). Requires a constant (not pulsed) 16 to 33 Vdc signal circuit. For outdoor use, install in an INT-WB weatherproof box.

FAQs

Does this horn-strobe need an external sync module?
No for basic self-sync. Devices on a common two-wire circuit self-synchronize within 200 milliseconds. An external control module is required only to meet the tighter UL 1971 standard of 10 milliseconds over a two hours.
Can I use this in a sleeping room?
Kidde recommends at least 110 cd strobes for sleeping rooms. The INT-7AT's 15/75 cd rating is intended for general wall-mount signaling; see the INT-8AT for the 110 cd sleeping-room-rated model.
Is this suitable for outdoor installation?
Yes, when installed in the INT-WB weatherproof surface box. Outdoor operating range is -31°F to 150°F with 98% relative humidity at 40°C.
What box does this mount to?
A standard North American two-gang electrical box, 2-1/2" deep minimum. No separate trim plate is required.
