The Kidde K-RLED-CR gives installers a clean 16-zone status display with full common controls at a remote location - lobby, guard desk, maintenance office - without tying up panel board space. It connects to the fire alarm panel over RS-485, reads zone status and system condition automatically, and requires zero programming beyond setting a DIP switch address.
Built for commercial fire installs
The R-Series annunciator mounts on a standard North American 4-inch square electrical box and connects over twisted pair up to 4,000 feet from the panel. Class B, Redundant Class B, and Class A wiring configurations are all supported. UL, ULC, and FM listed. Compatible with Kidde FX64, FX1000, VS1, VS4, EVOLVE, and VM fire alarm panels.
Key features
- 16 zone pairs with dedicated Active and Trouble LEDs for at-a-glance status at remote locations
- Full common controls: Ack/Silence, Reset, Signal Silence, Drill, and Lamp Test - no walk back to the panel
- System status LEDs: Power, Fire Alarm, Supervisory, Ground Fault, Trouble, and Controls Enabled
- No programming required - set the DIP switch address and the panel pushes all zone and status data automatically
- Expandable: add up to two K-RLED24-2 expanders for additional zone annunciation
- Optional keyswitch lockout (K-LKSW-S1) disables control buttons while keeping status display active
