The Kidde K-RLCD-R gives commercial fire alarm installers a remote LCD annunciator that ties back to the FACP over RS-485 without additional controllers. Designed for the R-Series platform, it mounts on a standard 4-inch square electrical box and displays system status on a 4-line, 20-character LCD readable from across a lobby, guard desk, or secondary entrance.

This annunciator runs on 24 VDC from the panel, draws just 61 mA in standby, and communicates over RS-485 with Class B or Class A wiring options up to 4,000 ft. Compatible with Kidde VS and FX Series intelligent fire alarm systems. UL, ULC, and FM listed for code-compliant commercial installations. Wire runs use standard 18-14 AWG twisted pair - nothing proprietary.
