The GSA-MCR drops a supervised Form C dry relay contact onto the SLC loop without pulling a separate power supply. SLC-powered and UIO-mountable, it fits into standard 4-inch electrical boxes and programs from the panel - one address, one module, one less thing to troubleshoot on a callback.
Built for the commercial fire installer
Addressable on the SLC loop with support for both 64-point and 1000-point addressing. The relay output handles pilot-duty loads up to 30 VDC at 2A or 125 VAC at 0.5A (60W/62.5 VA max), covering elevator recall, door holder release, HVAC shutdown, and similar auxiliary control functions. Configurable for polarity reversal when the application requires it.
Key features
- SLC-powered: no external power supply needed - draws from the signaling line circuit
- Form C dry contact relay: configurable for normally open, normally closed, or polarity reversal
- UIO mount: fits standard 4-inch square electrical boxes (1-1/2" and 2-1/2" deep)
- Flexible wiring: accepts 12, 14, 16, or 18 AWG field wire
- UL and ULC listed for commercial fire alarm applications
System requirements
Requires a compatible Kidde intelligent fire alarm control panel with SLC loop capacity. Each module occupies one SLC address. Mount in a standard North American 4-inch square electrical box.
