The GSA-MCT2 puts two monitored initiating device circuit (IDC) inputs on a single addressable module that plugs directly into a Kidde UIO base. It saves an electrical box and wiring run compared to a box-mounted module for every pair of IDC circuits on the job.

Built for the commercial fire alarm installer

Each input accepts normally open dry contact initiating devices and can be configured for alarm, supervisory, or monitor operation via the front-panel slide switch. Rotary switches set the device address - the module uses two consecutive SLC addresses, with the second assigned automatically. Ground fault detection at the module pinpoints wiring problems without walking the loop, cutting troubleshooting time on service calls.

How many IDC circuits does the GSA-MCT2 monitor?
Two normally open, alarm, supervisory, or monitor type dry contact initiating device circuits (IDCs). Each module uses two consecutive addresses on the SLC loop.
