The GSA-MCT2 puts two monitored initiating device circuit (IDC) inputs on a single addressable module that plugs directly into a Kidde UIO base. It saves an electrical box and wiring run compared to a box-mounted module for every pair of IDC circuits on the job.

Each input accepts normally open dry contact initiating devices and can be configured for alarm, supervisory, or monitor operation via the front-panel slide switch. Rotary switches set the device address - the module uses two consecutive SLC addresses, with the second assigned automatically. Ground fault detection at the module pinpoints wiring problems without walking the loop, cutting troubleshooting time on service calls.

System requirements
Requires a Kidde intelligent fire alarm control panel (FX Series or compatible) with an available SLC loop. The UIO mount requires a compatible Kidde detector base. Wire in accordance with NFPA 72 and CAN/ULC-S524.
