The EGCSVRF-CVR is a replacement cover for Kidde Genesis LED EGCS Series ceiling-mount speaker-strobes. Red housing with white "FIRE" markings - it snaps on and off with a flathead screwdriver, so you can swap markings or replace a damaged cover without pulling the device off the ceiling or touching the wiring behind it.

Does this cover fit Genesis EGC Series ceiling horns or horn-strobes?
No. The EGCSVRF-CVR fits EGCS Series (speaker and speaker-strobe) devices only. EGC Series horn and horn-strobe devices use different covers with different part numbers (EGCAVRF-CVR for horn-strobes, EGCVRF-CVR for strobes).
Can I change the FIRE marking to ALERT or no marking?
Yes. Order the corresponding EGCS cover variant: EGCSVRN-CVR (red, no marking), EGCSVWA-CVR (white, ALERT), EGCSVWF-CVR (white, FIRE), or EGCSVWN-CVR (white, no marking).
Do I need to remove the device from the ceiling to swap the cover?
