KD-EGCSVWA-CVR

The EGCSVWA-CVR is a replacement cover for Kidde's Genesis LED EGCS Series ceiling-mount speaker-strobes. White housing with red ALERT marking - snap it on to change out a FIRE, plain, or damaged cover without pulling the device off the ceiling or touching the wiring.

Quick-swap cover design

Genesis EGCS covers remove and install with a flathead screwdriver. No need to unmount the device, disconnect wiring, or reconfigure strobe or speaker settings. The cover snaps into place over the existing notification appliance, preserving all field-configured output levels.

Does this cover fit Genesis EGCS ceiling speakers (non-strobe)?
No. This cover is designed for the speaker-strobe models (SV designation). Speaker-only EGCS models use a different cover part number (e.g., EGCSWA-CVR for white ALERT speaker-only cover).
Can I change the marking on my existing Genesis EGCS speaker-strobe?
Yes. Genesis EGCS covers are quick-swap replacements. Remove the existing cover with a screwdriver and snap this one into place to switch from FIRE or plain marking to ALERT. No rewiring, no reconfiguration.
Do I need to remove the device from the ceiling to swap the cover?
No. The cover removes and installs with a flathead screwdriver while the device stays mounted. Wiring and field-configured output settings are not affected.
