The Kidde VM-DACT is a dual-line dialer card that reports alarm, supervisory, and trouble conditions from a VM-1 control panel to a central station over standard telephone lines. It transmits in dual or split-line format using 4/2 or Contact ID protocol, so one card covers the reporting formats most central stations expect.

Built for the commercial fire installer

  • Dual-line reporting using one or two loop-start telephone lines (party, ground-start, and PBX lines are not supported)
  • Supports 4/2 and Contact ID dialing formats
  • V.32bis modem for remote upload/download programming
  • Requires one option card slot in the VM-1 panel

Installs directly into the VM-1 control panel as a factory-supported option card — no separate enclosure required.
