The SD-ST is the sensor half of a SuperDuct four-wire duct smoke detection setup, wired with screw terminals for jobs where the installer prefers hard-wired connections over RJ45 harnesses.

Patented differential sensing checks the environment every eight minutes and automatically compensates for dirt and humidity, cutting the sensitivity drift that drives nuisance duct alarms on other detectors.
