The SD-CJ is the controller half of a SuperDuct four-wire duct smoke detection setup, for jobs where the sensor is mounted remotely from the controller instead of in tandem.
Built for the commercial fire installer
One controller supports up to two SD-SJ sensors, connected via RJ45 wiring harness (5, 10, or 15 ft) when the sensor can't mount directly to the controller. Onboard Alarm, Trouble, and Power LEDs and a set of relay outputs (alarm, trouble, and two auxiliary) give the installer full status and control at the controller location, while the actual sensing happens at the remote sensor head.
Key features
- Controller only - pairs with one or two remote SD-SJ sensors
- RJ45 interconnection for fast drop-in wiring to remote sensors
- Alarm, trouble, and two auxiliary relay outputs
- Multi-fan shutdown: interconnect up to 15 controllers
System requirements
Requires one or two SD-SJ sensors (sold separately) and an RJ45 wiring harness (SD-RJ5/10/15) if the sensor is mounted remotely. Operates on 24 Vdc, 24 Vac, 120 Vac, or 230 Vac.
