The Genesis LED EG4LF horn-strobe combines 520 Hz low frequency audible signaling with high-efficiency LED strobe output in a single wall-mount appliance. Built for commercial sleeping areas and other spaces where NFPA 72 requires low frequency notification, it handles both new installs and system upgrades - including mixed circuits with legacy Xenon strobes.

Field-selectable candela output (15, 30, 75, or 110 cd) draws the same current regardless of setting, which means NAC circuit calculations stay valid even when candela requirements change mid-project. The universal room-side wiring plate lets you pre-wire, continuity-check, and snap the device into place late in the build - no re-entering finished ceilings to troubleshoot wiring issues. Fits standard 1-gang, 2-gang, 4-inch square, and 4-inch octagon boxes.

Does current draw change when I switch candela settings?
No. The Genesis LED EG4LF draws the same current at 15, 30, 75, and 110 cd. NAC circuit calculations remain valid regardless of which candela setting is selected, and you can adjust settings in the field without recalculating the circuit.
Can I mix this LED device with existing Xenon strobes?
Yes. Genesis LED devices can be installed on the same circuit as legacy Xenon strobes. This makes the EG4LF a practical choice for phased upgrades where you're replacing devices over time rather than all at once.
What electrical boxes does this fit?
Standard 1-gang, 2-gang, 4-inch square, and 4-inch octagon boxes. For 4-inch octagon boxes, use the GOCT adapter plate. Surface mount options available via the G4RSB (red) or G4WSB (white) back box.
What synchronization sources are compatible?
CC1S and MCC1S Series signal modules, booster and auxiliary power supplies, and compatible intelligent and conventional fire alarm control panels. Maximum loop resistance is 20 ohms between any two synchronized devices.
How do I change the candela or sound output setting?
Candela output (15/30/75/110 cd) and horn level (high/low) are set via slide switches accessible under the device cover. No special tools required. Settings can be adjusted after installation without removing the device from the wall.
