The Kidde Genesis LED EG4LF drops 520 Hz low-frequency notification into commercial sleeping areas - hotels, dorms, assisted living - where NFPA 72 mandates the low-frequency tone to wake occupants. LED strobe technology draws significantly less current than legacy Xenon strobes, so you fit more devices on each NAC circuit and spend less time calculating power supply loads.

UL 464 and UL 1971 listed. Field-selectable candela (15/30/75/110 cd) and sound output (high/low) mean one SKU covers a range of room sizes without reordering. The GRSW room-side wiring plate (included) lets you pre-wire, verify continuity, and install the device later - no return trips to close out the rough-in.

System requirements

Operates on regulated or unregulated 16-33 VDC NAC circuits from compatible Kidde Commercial intelligent or conventional fire alarm control panels. Synchronization requires CC1S or MCC1S Series Signal Modules, compatible Booster or Auxiliary Power Supplies, or panels with built-in Genesis LED sync.
