SKU:
KD-K-270-SPO

The Kidde K-270-SPO is a non-coded break glass fire alarm pull station built for conventional fire alarm systems. Die-cast metal construction stands up to high-traffic commercial environments, and the less-than-5-lb pull force keeps the station ADA compliant without sacrificing tamper resistance.

Built for the commercial installer

Flush mounts to any standard 4" North American square box with a single gang plaster cover - no special rough-in required. Surface mount options are available with the Kidde cast box (P-027193) or steel box (P-039250). UL Listed (S2318) and ULC Listed (7150-1657:0111) for code-compliant installations across the US and Canada. Single pole, open circuit contact with screw terminals for clean wiring to conventional fire alarm control panels.

Key features

  • Break glass activation: prevents accidental pulls while meeting ADA pull-force requirements (less than 5 lbs)
  • Die-cast metal construction handles high-traffic commercial and industrial environments
  • Flush or surface mount on standard 4" square boxes - no proprietary hardware needed
  • Simple reset: replace the break glass element and the station is back in service
  • UL and ULC listed for code-compliant installations in the US and Canada
  • Fire alarm red finish with aluminum trim strips for high visibility

System requirements

Connects to any conventional fire alarm control panel (FACP) via single pole, open circuit screw terminals. For flush mounting, use a standard 4" square electrical box with single gang plaster cover. For surface mounting, order the Kidde cast surface box (P-027193) or steel surface box (P-039250) separately.
