The GCHFRN-S2VMCH pairs crisp, intelligible voice audio with a high-output strobe in one low-profile ceiling appliance, built to meet NFPA's 520Hz signaling requirement for newly constructed sleeping areas.
Built for the commercial fire installer
High fidelity 520Hz output produces clear voice audio that stays intelligible even in high-ambient-noise spaces, and the appliance is approved for sleeping-room use as part of an end-to-end audio system with a factory-supplied 520Hz tone. Speaker wattage taps (1/4, 1/2, 1, or 2W) and strobe candela (95/115/150/177 cd) are both field-selectable through windows on the front of the device - no need to remove it from the ceiling. The low-profile design sits 30% slimmer than comparable ceiling signals, hinging down for easy access to switches and wiring.
