The 302-AW-135 handles moisture and dust that would compromise a standard heat detector, hermetically sealed for indoor or outdoor use without needing a special back box - just splice the leads to THW or equivalent wire.

Built for the commercial fire installer

Rate compensation offsets thermal lag so the sensor responds appropriately to both slow and fast temperature rises, alarming at its rated 135°F regardless of how quickly the space heats up. The shell automatically resets once the surrounding temperature drops back down - no manual reset needed.
