The VM-SLC-HC is the high-capacity version of Kidde's VM Series loop expansion card, purpose-built for circuits carrying more than 90 isolator modules. On jobs with heavy isolator counts — long runs through multiple electrical rooms, or designs that isolate every few devices for code compliance — the standard VM-SLC can run short on drive capacity. The HC card is the fix.

Built for the commercial fire installer

Swap-in compatible with the standard VM-SLC card slot on the VM-CPU main board, so there's no redesign of the panel layout to accommodate it — just the right card for a loop with unusually heavy isolator loading. Spec it up front on jobs where the device schedule shows a high isolator count, or as a field replacement when an installed VM-SLC can't hold the loop under alarm load.
