Kidde | R-Series LCD Text Remote Fire Alarm Annunciator Without Common Controls, Backlit 4x20 Display, RS-485 | K-RLCD

The K-RLCD mounts to a standard 4-inch square electrical box and gives fire alarm installers remote status visibility on Kidde Commercial EVOLVE, FX64, FX1000, VS1, VS4, and VM panels - without pulling the FACP door open. The 4-line by 20-character backlit LCD displays system status in plain English, while dedicated LEDs confirm Power, Fire Alarm, Supervisory, Ground Fault, and Trouble conditions at a glance.

Built for the commercial fire alarm installer

RS-485 communication supports Class A or Class B wiring with runs up to 4,000 ft. Set the DIP switch address and the annunciator pulls all zone and system data from the panel automatically - no programming required. This is the model without common controls, so there's no Reset, Signal Silence, or Drill button on the faceplate. Ack/Silence and Lamp Test are included. If the job calls for full common controls, look at the K-RLCD-C.

Panel compatibility

Compatible with Kidde Commercial FX64, FX1000, VS1, VS4, EVOLVE, and VM fire alarm control panels. Up to two K-RLED24-2 LED zone expanders can be daisy-chained for zone-level annunciation alongside the LCD display.
