The GSA-MM1 is an addressable monitor module that puts a single normally-open, dry-contact initiating device — a tamper switch, waterflow contact, or third-party detector — on the signaling line circuit as its own supervised point.
Built for the commercial installer
The module needs no address switches; the loop controller assigns and downloads the address and operating personality electronically, which speeds commissioning and eliminates dial-in errors on the bench. A bicolor LED gives a quick normal/alarm read at the module without pulling up the panel's device list.
Key features
- Single Class B, normally-open dry-contact input — factory set for non-latching monitor operation
- Electronic addressing — no address switches to set in the field
- Bicolor status LED for at-a-glance normal (green) / alarm (red) indication
- Mounts to standard 1-gang or 4" square electrical boxes for flexible placement
- UL 864 listed for commercial fire alarm systems
System requirements
Requires a compatible Kidde addressable signaling line circuit (SLC) loop controller. Does not support conventional smoke detectors.
