The Kidde Genesis WG4RF-H is an outdoor-rated wall-mount horn built for harsh-environment fire alarm notification. Operating from -40°F to 151°F, it handles exposed exterior locations, parking structures, and covered outdoor areas where conventional notification appliances fail. Red housing with FIRE marking - horn only, no strobe.
Built for the commercial installer
The WG4 outdoor series mounts to a standard 4-inch square electrical box in dry indoor locations or the dedicated Model 449 (gray) / 74347U (red) surface-mount box for waterproof outdoor applications. UL 464 and ULC-S525 listed. Field-selectable volume (high/low dB) and pattern (temporal/continuous) let you configure on-site without swapping hardware. Runs on 24 VDC or 24 VFWR from most commercial fire alarm panels.
