The WG4RF-S delivers voice and tone notification in a weatherproof, FIRE-marked appliance for zones that need audio without a strobe on the same device.

Field-selectable speaker taps (1/4, 1/2, 1, or 2 watt) and voltage (25V or 70V) let one part number cover most audio circuit designs, with a built-in DC blocking capacitor for circuit supervision. The full backplane sealing gasket allows installation to recessed in-the-pour boxes as well as surface boxes on raceways, and the shallow, low-profile housing rejects the elements down to -31°F.

System requirements

Wet locations require a Kidde 74347U outdoor-rated box; dry locations use a standard 4-inch square by 1-1/2-inch deep box (2-1/8-inch deep if using the optional WG4RTS trim skirt).
