SKU:
KD-WG4RF-SVMC

The Genesis WG4RF-SVMC combines a multi-tap speaker and selectable-candela strobe in one outdoor-rated housing, cutting your notification appliance count and box fill on exterior and wet-location jobs. UL 1638 listed for outdoor use and UL 1971 listed for indoor, so one SKU covers both sides of the wall.

Built for the fire alarm installer

Dual-voltage 25V/70V speaker with four field-selectable watt taps (1/4, 1/2, 1, 2W) matches existing NAC circuit configurations without a separate amplifier. Strobe output switches between 15, 29, 70, and 87 candela to meet ADA and local code requirements at each mounting location. Operating range of -31°F to 151°F handles unheated stairwells, parking structures, and covered outdoor walkways.

Key features

  • One device, two functions: speaker and strobe in a single outdoor-rated enclosure reduces box count and install time
  • Field-selectable candela: 15, 29, 70, or 87 cd (UL 1971 indoor) / 6, 12, 28, or 35 cd (UL 1638 outdoor) - set at the device, no programming needed
  • Dual-voltage speaker: 25V or 70V with 1/4W, 1/2W, 1W, and 2W taps for flexible NAC loading
  • Wide operating temperature: -31°F to 151°F covers parking garages, stairwells, and covered exterior applications
  • Genesis synchronization: strobes sync via compatible Kidde FACPs (VM/VS, FX Series) or standalone sync modules
  • Standard mounting: fits 4" square box (dry) or Kidde 74347U weatherproof box (wet locations)

System compatibility

Works with Kidde VM/VS Series and FX Series fire alarm control panels. Standalone sync available through GSA-CC1S, GSA-MCC1S, SIGA-CC2A, GSA-MCC2A, and EG1M-RM sync modules, as well as MIRBPS6A, MIRBPS10A, APS6A, and APS10A power supplies.
