The WG4WN-SVMA covers voice notification and visual signaling in one weatherproof device, with an amber lens that visually separates mass notification alerts from red-lens fire alarm signals on the same site.
Built for the commercial fire installer
Field-selectable speaker taps (1/4, 1/2, 1, or 2 watt) and voltage (25V or 70V) let one part number cover most audio circuit designs, and the strobe's four standard-output candela settings are set the same way - remove the cover and slide a switch, no separate model needed per candela rating. Settings stay visible after the cover goes back on through a sealed viewport. The full backplane sealing gasket allows installation to recessed in-the-pour boxes as well as surface boxes on raceways, and the shallow, low-profile housing rejects the elements down to -31ưF.
Key features
- Field-selectable speaker wattage (1/4, 1/2, 1, 2W) and voltage (25V/70V)
- Field-selectable amber strobe candela - 4 settings without swapping devices
- Amber lens visually distinguishes ECS/MNS alerts from fire alarm signaling
- Rated -31ưF to 151ưF, indoor or outdoor
- Wall or ceiling mount, strobe positionable above, below, or to either side
- UL 1971/1638 synchronization compatible with Genesis and Integrity signals on the same circuit
System requirements
Wet locations require a Kidde 74347U outdoor-rated box; dry locations use a standard 4-inch square by 1-1/2-inch deep box (2-1/8-inch deep if using the optional WG4WTS trim skirt). Strobe synchronization requires a compatible control module (VM/VS/FX Series panels or GSA-CC1S/SIGA-CC2A-family modules).
Why choose an amber lens?
Can the speaker wattage and voltage be changed after installation?
What box is needed for outdoor installation?
Does this synchronize with other Genesis strobes?
