The WG4WN-SVMHC covers voice notification and high-output visual signaling in one weatherproof device, built for parking garages, loading docks, and other exposed areas where a standard-output strobe won't cut it.
Built for the commercial fire installer
Field-selectable speaker taps (1/4, 1/2, 1, or 2 watt) and voltage (25V or 70V) let one part number cover most audio circuit designs, and the strobe's four high-output candela settings (102/123/147/161 cd indoor, up to 65 cd outdoor per UL 1638) are set the same way - remove the cover and slide a switch, no separate model needed per candela rating. Settings stay visible after the cover goes back on through a sealed viewport. The full backplane sealing gasket allows installation to recessed in-the-pour boxes as well as surface boxes on raceways, and the shallow, low-profile housing rejects the elements down to -31ưF.
Key features
- Field-selectable speaker wattage (1/4, 1/2, 1, 2W) and voltage (25V/70V)
- Field-selectable high-output strobe candela - 4 settings without swapping devices
- Rated -31ưF to 151ưF, indoor or outdoor
- Wall or ceiling mount, strobe positionable above, below, or to either side
- UL 1971/1638 synchronization compatible with Genesis and Integrity signals on the same circuit
- Room-side wiring - all connections made from inside for a faster install
System requirements
Wet locations require a Kidde 74347U outdoor-rated box; dry locations use a standard 4-inch square by 1-1/2-inch deep box (2-1/8-inch deep if using the optional WG4WTS trim skirt). Strobe synchronization requires a compatible control module (VM/VS/FX Series panels or GSA-CC1S/SIGA-CC2A-family modules).
Can the speaker wattage and voltage be changed after installation?
Can I select a different candela setting without ordering a new device?
What box is needed for outdoor installation?
Does this synchronize with other Genesis strobes?
