The Kidde K-RLCD-CR-2 gives installers full system visibility and common controls at a remote location without running back to the FACP. This R-Series LCD annunciator connects to EVOLVE-ML, FX64, FX1000, VS1, VS4, and VM panels over RS-485, displaying real-time system status on a backlit 4-line by 20-character LCD. The red enclosure matches standard fire alarm aesthetics for code-compliant installations.

R-Series annunciators mount on any standard North American 4-inch square electrical box using the included mounting ring, or surface mount in optional locking steel enclosures (RA-ENC1, RA-ENC2, RA-ENC3). Power comes from the FACP or any listed 24 VDC supply. RS-485 data wiring supports Class A, Class B, or Redundant Class B configurations with runs up to 4,000 ft - plenty of distance for lobby, guard station, or secondary entrance placements. UL, ULC, and FM listed.

System requirements

Requires a compatible Kidde Commercial FACP (EVOLVE-ML, FX64, FX1000, VS1, VS4, or VM series) with an available RS-485 riser connection. Power from the panel or a listed 24 VDC supply. Data wiring: 18-14 AWG twisted pair, 6 twists per foot minimum.
