The Kidde FSRRM24 provides five independently configurable Form C relay outputs for zone-based auxiliary control in Kidde Commercial fire alarm systems. Each output activates based on zone grouping set by on-board jumpers, giving installers precise control over HVAC shutdown, door holder release, elevator recall, and notification appliance circuits without running back to the FACP.

Built for the fire alarm installer

The module mounts on the included DIN-style track and connects to the fire alarm panel's zone bus. Jumper-selectable zone groupings (zones 1-5, 6-10, 11-15) and module type configuration let you match relay behavior to the job without custom programming. Five Form C (SPDT) contacts provide clean dry-contact switching for third-party equipment. Each relay position includes an active LED indicator for at-a-glance status verification during commissioning and service calls.

Key features

  • Five Form C (SPDT) relay outputs for independent zone-based control of auxiliary equipment
  • Jumper-selectable zone configuration covers zone groups 1-5, 6-10, and 11-15
  • Active LED indicators on each output for visual confirmation during commissioning and troubleshooting
  • On-board disable jumper for quick output isolation during service without rewiring
  • Mounting track included for clean, secure panel installation

System requirements

Designed for use with Kidde Commercial fire alarm control panels. Connects to the panel's zone output bus for supervised relay operation. Consult the FACP installation manual for compatible relay module wiring and zone assignment.

FAQs

How many relay outputs does the FSRRM24 provide?
Five independent Form C (SPDT) relay outputs, each with its own active LED indicator for status verification.
What fire alarm panels is this compatible with?
Designed for Kidde Commercial fire alarm control panels. Connects to the panel's zone output bus. Consult the FACP installation manual for wiring and zone assignment details.
How are the zone assignments configured?
Via on-board jumpers. Three zone groupings are available: zones 1-5, 6-10, and 11-15. Module type and group jumpers provide additional configuration options for matching relay behavior to the application.
What applications do the relay outputs support?
Common applications include HVAC shutdown, magnetic door holder release, elevator recall, fan and damper control, and auxiliary notification appliance circuit activation.
Does this include mounting hardware?
Yes. The FSRRM24 ships with a DIN-style mounting track for panel installation.
Can individual relay outputs be disabled for service?
Yes. An on-board disable jumper allows you to isolate outputs during service without disconnecting wiring.
