The Kidde GSA-RM1 monitors the 24 VDC auxiliary riser circuit that powers Genesis Series sounder bases on the Signature data loop. When the riser loses power or faults, the module reports the trouble condition directly to the FACP - no separate monitoring circuit required.

The GSA-RM1 connects to the SLC (Signaling Line Circuit) as a single addressable point, keeping loop device counts low while adding riser supervision to sounder base installations. UL and ULC listed for commercial fire alarm applications. Compatible with Kidde Signature Series fire alarm control panels and all Genesis Series sounder bases in the family.

System requirements
Requires a Kidde Signature Series FACP with an available SLC address. Used in conjunction with Genesis Series sounder bases (GSA-AB4G, SB4U, SB4U-LF, GSA-SBT) powered by a 24 VDC auxiliary riser circuit. Wire the SLC loop with 12-18 AWG conductors per Kidde specifications.
