The EC5000R is a 4-wire conventional device connecting to any compatible FACP. One controller supports up to two detector heads, each covering up to 330 ft to the reflector with a single prism (27-160 ft) or the optional Long Range Prism Kit (160-330 ft). Total lateral coverage reaches 60 ft per beam, giving each detector head up to 19,800 sq ft of protection under flat ceilings. UL 268, ULC S529, FM Approved, CSFM, and MEA listed.

System requirements
Requires a 4-wire connection to a compatible fire alarm control panel (14-36 VDC). Cabling between detector heads and the controller uses 24 to 14 AWG shielded pair. Reflector must be mounted on a secure, non-reflective surface with clear line of sight to the detector head. For installations beyond 160 ft, order the Long Range Prism Kit (5000-004) separately.
