The SIGA-TS4 trim skirt sits between the detector base and the ceiling to cover the exposed ears and surface imperfections left by a 4-inch square electrical box. Paint the wall once, drop the skirt over the rough edges, and forget the hole is there. Included with every 4-inch base (KI-SB4, KI-RB4, KI-IB4), so most installs already have one in the box - order separately only when retrofitting a smaller base onto a 4-inch box.

Snaps over standard North American 4-inch square boxes and seats flush against the ceiling. No cutting, no trimming, no extra hardware. If the box is there and the base doesn't cover it, this does.

The SIGA-TS4 fits standard North American 4-inch square electrical boxes. It sits between the detector base and the ceiling surface to cover any exposed box edges or mounting ears.
Does the SIGA-TS4 ship with detectors or bases?
It ships with every 4-inch base (KI-SB4, KI-RB4, KI-IB4). If you're ordering a 4-inch base, the trim skirt is already in the box.
When would I need to order the SIGA-TS4 separately?
When you're mounting a smaller base (non-4-inch) onto a 4-inch square electrical box and the base doesn't fully cover the box edges. The trim skirt fills the gap.
What is the difference between the SIGA-TS4 and the GSA-TS?
The SIGA-TS4 is for the SIGA (Signature) intelligent detector line. The GSA-TS is the Genesis Series equivalent. Not interchangeable - match the trim skirt to the detector family on the job.
Can I paint the SIGA-TS4 to match the ceiling?
The skirt ships white, which matches most commercial ceiling tiles. It can be painted to match non-white surfaces. Use a light coat and let it cure before mounting.
