Does this cover fit EG4 horn-strobes or just strobes?
This cover is specifically for the visual-only (strobe) wall-mount EG4 devices. Horn-strobe and horn covers have different part numbers due to the speaker grille cutout. Check the EG4 Series ordering table for the correct cover SKU for your device.
Do I need to remove the device from the wall to replace the cover?
No. The cover snaps onto the existing EG4 wall-mount base in the field. Pull the old cover off, snap the new one on. No need to unmount the backbox or disconnect wiring.
