The Kidde EG4TR trim plate gives Genesis LED EG4 Series wall mount installations a finished look on oversized electrical boxes. It covers 1-gang, 2-gang, 3.5-inch octagon, and 4-inch square box openings that would otherwise be visible around the appliance - no extra mud ring, no paint touch-up, no callbacks over cosmetics.

Color-matched red to the Genesis EG4 Series wall mount horns, strobes, horn-strobes, speakers, and speaker-strobes. UL Listed as a Fire Alarm and General Signaling Equipment accessory. Mounts between the appliance and the wall surface with the same mounting screws - no additional hardware, no added install time.

The EG4TR covers 1-gang, 2-gang, 3.5-inch octagon, and 4-inch square electrical box openings. It mounts between the Genesis EG4 wall appliance and the wall surface.
Is a trim plate required for Genesis EG4 wall mount installations?
Not always. If the electrical box opening is fully concealed by the appliance body, a trim plate isn't needed. Use the EG4TR when the box opening is oversized or visible around the appliance edges.
What is the difference between the EG4TR and EG4TW?
Color only. The EG4TR is red, the EG4TW is white. Choose the color that matches the Genesis EG4 Series appliance installed at the location.
