The Luminys R31-4PA2 gives small commercial jobs a compact, camera-edge-analytics NVR without the extra switch and cable overhead. Four built-in PoE ports feed four channels directly from a Mini 1U chassis — plug Luminys cameras in, connect the network, and the system is live. The 2TB drive ships pre-installed so there's no separate storage order and no first-day rack gymnastics.

NDAA-compliant and ONVIF-compatible, the R31-4PA2 fits commercial bids that require documented compliance without hardware surprises. Camera-edge analytics mean the NVR offloads processing to the camera itself — iMD, VCA, Face Detection, and LPR run at the camera and are indexed at the NVR for fast forensic search by target classification, channel, time range, and event type. LumiCloud Lite is included out of the box; upgrade to a paid Unity subscription when the customer needs cloud recording or AI event archiving.

System requirements

Designed for Luminys IP cameras — pairs with any compatible Luminys 8MP camera for full Analytics by Camera functionality. ONVIF cameras record normally without edge analytics. Remote management and playback via LumiViewer desktop or mobile app. Cloud recording requires a LumiCloud HD Video Unity Channel license (LCL-HDV-U, sold separately).
