The DS108GP is an unmanaged 8-port Gigabit desktop switch with PoE+ on every port, built for small camera and Wi-Fi jobs where you want to power everything from one box. Plug it in and it works: no software, no configuration and no fan noise.

Built for small camera and Wi-Fi jobs

All eight ports deliver 802.3af/at PoE+ at up to 30 W each from a 65 W shared budget. Extend mode on ports 1 and 2 pushes PoE and data out to 250 m at reduced speed for a camera beyond the normal 100 m limit, and PoE auto recovery restarts a powered device that stops responding. The steel case is fanless with a security lock slot.

Yes. Extend mode on ports 1 and 2 carries PoE and data up to 250 m, and the port speed drops to 10 Mbps.
Does this switch need to be configured?
No. It is unmanaged and works out of the box. There is no web interface or VLAN support.
Can it join an Omada controller?
No. TP-Link states Omada unmanaged switches do not support Omada SDN central management.
How many cameras can the 65 W budget run?
It depends on each device. Add up the camera or AP draw: for example, eight devices at 8 W each is 64 W, inside the budget.
