A one or two door access control system in a box. The X1100 controller arrives already wired to a dual-voltage 12/24 VDC supply inside a 14 by 12 inch enclosure, so the work on site is hanging the can, landing the readers and door hardware, and putting it on the network.

Built for the commercial installer

Buying the kit removes the part of the job that eats the most bench time and creates the most mistakes: pairing a controller to a supply, sizing the enclosure, and wiring the power chain correctly. It also removes the UL question. The kit carries UL294, UL603 and UL1076 along with ULC and CSA listings, which is the paperwork an AHJ asks for on a commercial opening.

The supply runs on 120, 208 or 230 VAC and delivers 1.5A at 12 VDC and 1.5A at 24 VDC, with selectable 0.7 or 1.60A battery charging behind it. Conduit knockouts are 1/2 inch and 1-1/4 inch. Note that this enclosure is full: an additional Aero expansion board will not fit inside it, so a third door means the four door kit or a separate enclosure.

FAQs

Can an expansion module be added inside this enclosure?
No. Alarm.com states that an additional HID Aero expansion board cannot be mounted within the ADC-AC-X1100-2PSE kit. For more than two doors, use the four door kit or mount the expansion in a separate enclosure.
Is this kit UL rated?
Yes. The power kit carries UL294, UL603, UL1076, ULC S318 and S319, CSA C22.2 #107.1 and CSA 22.2 #60950, plus CE and RoHS. The X1100 controller itself is FCC, CE and UL 294 certified.
Are backup batteries included?
No. Batteries are ordered separately. The supply charges at a selectable 0.7 or 1.60A, so match the charge rate to the battery set you install.
What does the kit save against buying the parts separately?
The controller and dual-voltage supply arrive pre-wired in a matched enclosure, so there is no pairing, sizing or power chain wiring to work out on the bench, and the UL listing covers the assembly as shipped.
