The ADC-VDB780B ships with a 10-degree tilt wedge, which covers a straightforward flat wall next to the door. This kit adds three more positions for everything else: a 15-degree tilt, a 15-degree pan and a 30-degree pan, with the screwdriver to fit them.
Built for the installer
Because the 780B is wire-free, it can go anywhere, which means it more often ends up on a surface that is not square to the approach. The pan wedges handle that. The extra tilt pushes the vertical field down toward the step, which matters on a doorbell whose vertical field of view is 90 degrees, narrower than the wired models in the range.
Having the kit on the van turns a marginal camera angle into a correct one without moving the mounting plate or re-drilling.
