The KI-IB4 is the 4-inch version of Kidde's KI Series isolator base, built for jobs where the detector lands on a 4-inch square electrical box instead of a standard 1-gang. It ships with the GSA-TS4 trim skirt so the base finishes clean over the wider box opening.

Use the KI-IB4 wherever a KI Series detector needs Class A isolation and the rough-in is a 4-inch square box Ć¢ā¬ā it requires a compatible detector installed to function, and does not support the GSA-LED remote indicator.
