The KI-RB4 is the 4-inch version of Kidde's KI Series relay base, adding relay functionality at the detector base for jobs where the rough-in is a 4-inch square electrical box. It ships with the GSA-TS4 trim skirt so the base finishes clean over the wider box opening.
Why installers use it
- Dry contact rated 1 A @ 30 VDC (pilot duty), selectable N.O. or N.C. at installation
- Includes the GSA-TS4 trim skirt to cover the mounting ears and surface imperfections around a 4-inch box
- Can be programmed at the control panel to act as a control relay, not just a follower of detector state

Use the KI-RB4 wherever a KI Series detector needs a base-mounted relay and the rough-in is a 4-inch square box Ć¢ā¬ā note it does not support the GSA-LED remote indicator.
