The Kidde 260-CO is a system-connected carbon monoxide detector that wires directly to any UL 985 or UL 864 listed fire alarm or CO panel. Running on 12 or 24VDC panel power, it eliminates separate power supply runs and drops into your existing conventional zone wiring.
Built for the commercial installer
Alarm and trouble relay outputs keep things simple - Form C alarm relay on a dedicated zone pair, normally-closed trouble relay for supervision. The 85 dB Temporal-4 sounder meets NFPA 720 requirements without adding external notification appliances. UL 2075 listed, with CO sensitivity conforming to UL 2034 response thresholds.
Key features
- SafeTest functional testing: NFPA 720-compliant CO verification without test gas or magnets
- 10-year electro-chemical sensor with automatic end-of-life signal when replacement is due
- Alarm and trouble relay outputs: Form C alarm relay (150 mA/33VDC) plus supervised common trouble relay
- 85 dB Temporal-4 sounder built in - meets NFPA 720 notification requirements at the device
- Tandem interconnect capable via optional polarity reversal module for multi-detector coordination
- Retrofit-ready: optional 250-COPLT adapter plate for replacing Kidde 240-COe units without new box prep
System requirements
Requires a UL 985 or UL 864 listed control panel supplying 12 or 24VDC. Mounts on a standard 2-1/2 in. single-gang electrical box. Wiring accepts 14 to 22 AWG conductors.
