The FX-10R is a ten-zone conventional fire alarm control panel built for the small and mid-size commercial jobs that do not justify an addressable system. Ten Class B initiating device circuits and four Class B notification appliance circuits come standard, and pairs of each convert to single Class A circuits in the field, so one part number covers a wide range of survivability requirements without a re-order.

The 7.0 amp NAC power supply is the reason this panel gets specified. Two amps per circuit across four circuits means most buildings get their horn-strobes off the panel itself with no booster to mount, wire, and supervise. The cabinet charges up to two 24 Ah sealed lead acid batteries, with 18 Ah fitting inside the enclosure, so standby calculations rarely force you into an external battery cabinet.
Zone and NAC circuits are labelled on the front panel behind the door, so a technician reading the annunciator sees what tripped without pulling drawings. Listed under UL 864 (S3000), ULC-S527, CSFM, and FDNY.

System requirements
Requires a dedicated 120 Vac 60 Hz branch circuit at 2.2 amps. Terminals accept 18 to 12 AWG. Two sealed lead acid batteries are ordered separately and are required for standby. For remote annunciation, add an FSRA10 or FSRA10C. Consult detector compatibility list 3101019-EN for the maximum number of detectors per initiating circuit. If a DACT is required for central station reporting, order the FX-10RD, which adds an upload/download DACT and modem in the same enclosure.
