SKU:
KD-GSA-CC2

The Kidde GSA-CC2 is an analog addressable dual input riser module that selects between two signal or audio input circuits and routes the active circuit to a single signal output. Powered directly from the SLC (signaling line circuit), it drops into Kidde FX Series intelligent fire alarm systems with rotary addressing and no external power supply required at the module.

Built for the commercial fire installer

Circuit switching on a riser shouldn't require a custom wiring solution. The GSA-CC2 handles the selection between two input circuits at the module level, keeping riser configurations clean and field-serviceable. Rotary dials set the SLC address without a programming tool at the device, and a bicolor LED (green normal, red active) gives visible confirmation of module state during commissioning and service calls. Ground fault detection at the module pinpoints wiring issues to the specific device, saving troubleshooting time across long SLC runs.

Key features

  • Dual input circuit selection: switches between two signal or audio input circuits to one signal output - clean riser management without external switching hardware
  • SLC powered: draws power from the signaling line circuit, no separate power supply or additional wiring at the module
  • Rotary addressing: set device address with two screwdriver-adjustable dials - no special tools or programming steps required at the device
  • Ground fault detection: isolates wiring faults to the individual module, cutting troubleshooting time on the SLC loop
  • Standard box mounting: fits North American 4-inch square boxes (2-1/2 in. deep two-gang or 1-1/2 in. deep standard), same as the full Kidde FX module family
  • Bicolor LED status indicator: flashing green for normal operation, flashing red when active - visible at a glance during commissioning

System requirements

Requires a Kidde FX Series intelligent fire alarm control panel. Connects to the SLC and is powered by the communication line. Wire per NFPA 72 and CAN/ULC-S524 standards using 12, 14, 16, or 18 AWG conductors.

Kidde FX Series intelligent fire alarm control panels
What panel does the GSA-CC2 require?
The GSA-CC2 requires a Kidde FX Series intelligent fire alarm control panel. It connects to the SLC (signaling line circuit) and is powered directly by the communication line.
What does the GSA-CC2 do?
It selects between two signal or audio input circuits and routes the active circuit to a single signal output. This is used in riser configurations where two input sources need to share one output path.
How is the device address set?
Address is set via two rotary switches on the module using a small screwdriver. No special programming tool is needed at the device. Address range is 01-63 on 64-point panels or 01-126 on 1000-point panels.
What electrical box does this mount in?
Fits a standard North American 4-inch square x 2-1/2 in. deep two-gang box or a standard 4-inch square box 1-1/2 in. deep. Same mounting as all other Kidde FX Series intelligent modules.
Does the GSA-CC2 need a separate power supply?
No. The module draws power directly from the SLC (signaling line circuit). Standby current is 550 µA and activated current is 725 µA.
What wire gauge is required?
Use 12, 14, 16, or 18 AWG conductors per NFPA 72 and CAN/ULC-S524 requirements.
