The SD-T120 is a 120-inch rigid metal air sampling tube for Kidde SuperDuct duct smoke detectors. It mounts inside the HVAC duct and channels air samples through evenly spaced intake holes to the detector housing, enabling reliable smoke detection across wide duct runs without adding detector points.
Built for duct detector installs
The tube installs from either the front or back side of the SuperDuct detector housing and rotates in 45-degree increments to align the air intake holes with the direction of airflow. At 120 inches, it covers the widest standard commercial duct widths in a single run. Compatible with both four-wire (SD-4W series) and two-wire (SD-2W series) SuperDuct detectors.
Key features
- 120-inch length covers wide duct runs in a single tube
- Front or back-side install into the SuperDuct detector housing
- 45-degree rotation increments for precise airhole-to-airflow alignment
- Rigid metal construction maintains position inside the duct over time
- Compatible with SD-4W and SD-2W series SuperDuct duct smoke detectors
System requirements
Requires a Kidde SuperDuct duct smoke detector housing (SD-4W four-wire or SD-2W two-wire series). The detector system supports air velocities from 100 to 4,000 ft/min.
