The Kidde SD-T78 is a 78-inch rigid metal air sampling tube for the SuperDuct line of conventional duct smoke detectors. It draws air from the HVAC duct into the detector's photoelectric sensing chamber through a series of inlet holes along its length, providing reliable smoke sampling across wide commercial ductwork.

Built for the commercial installer

The tube installs from either the front side or back side of the detector housing without opening the unit. Inlet holes rotate in 45-degree increments to align with airflow regardless of mounting orientation. Standard spacing matches the SuperDuct detector assembly for a direct drop-in replacement of existing tubes or initial installs.
