The SD-RJ15 is a 15-foot RJ45 wiring harness that connects Kidde SuperDuct duct smoke detector heads to remotely mounted sampling tube assemblies. Eight-conductor CMP-rated cable with factory-terminated RJ45 connectors on both ends and rubber glands at each termination point for a watertight seal in plenum-rated installations.
Built for the commercial installer
When the detector head and sampling tube can't share the same housing location, the SD-RJ15 bridges the gap without field termination. Plug-and-play RJ45 connectors eliminate wiring errors and cut install time. CMP rating keeps you compliant in plenum air-handling spaces.
Key features
- 15-foot reach: connects SuperDuct detector heads to remote sampling tubes without splices or field termination
- 8-conductor CMP-rated cable: plenum-rated for air-handling spaces per NEC
- Factory-terminated RJ45 connectors: plug-and-play on both ends, no crimping or punchdown
- Rubber glands included: watertight seal at each connection point
