The Kidde K-279B-1110 is a non-coded double-action fire alarm pull station from the 279B series. The two-step activation - lift the upper door, then pull the handle - cuts false alarms while keeping the station operable for anyone in an emergency. Rugged red LEXAN 940 housing holds up in commercial environments without cracking or fading.
Built for the commercial fire installer
Mounts semi-flush on a standard 4-inch square box with a single gang plaster cover (minimum 2-1/4" depth), or surface-mounts with the optional 276B-RSB back box. Six-inch wire leads simplify field connections - no terminal blocks to deal with in a tight box. The single pole open circuit contact handles general alarm applications on conventional fire alarm panels. UL listed (UL38, S218) and FM approved.
