The Kidde Genesis High Fidelity Ceiling Speaker-Strobe delivers 520 Hz low-frequency audio and multi-candela visual notification from a single, low-profile ceiling-mount device. Built for sleeping accommodation areas where NFPA 72 requires 520 Hz signaling, it replaces separate speaker and strobe runs with one device and one set of wiring.

Built for the commercial fire installer

The Genesis GC series mounts flush to standard 4-inch electrical boxes and draws from a 70 VRMS audio circuit with selectable 1/4, 1/2, 1, or 2 watt taps. Strobe output is field-selectable at 95, 115, 150, or 177 cd via a rotary switch on the back of the unit - no need to stock multiple SKUs for different candela requirements. UL and ULC listed. Synchronizes with other Genesis devices on the same NAC circuit for code-compliant uniform flash.
