Mount the detector on any compatible KI-series base, set the address, and the panel picks it up on the next SLC poll. Low current draw (51 µA standby, 68 µA alarm) keeps loop capacity available for larger systems. Automatic environmental compensation adjusts sensitivity to ambient temperature changes, reducing nuisance alarms in spaces with HVAC cycling or seasonal temperature swings.
